Local Files Are Not Backed Up in iAnnotate v3

If you are using iAnnotate version 3 and below, please note that documents saved in the “Local Files” area are never backed up to iTunes nor iCloud. These documents and their annotations will be lost if the iPad is misplaced, damaged, reset, or (as has been reported more than once), a curious toddler accidentally removes the app!

We recommend using Cloud Connections (like Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive) to work with important documents in iAnnotate. Cloud Connections are free, easy to setup, and even support working offline.

Thanks for using iAnnotate!
